The North Carolina state Senate and House both recently passed a bill placing on the ballot in May 2012 an amendment to the state constitution banning gay marriage, civil unions, and domestic partnerships. Folks are resisting this legislation by applying for marriage licenses anyway. What happens next? Watch:
