Let me explain. I’m Adrienne, and as MoveOn’s Mobilization Director, my job is to help make our mobilizations some of the largest protests in U.S. history—but I need your help.

We’re watching our rights get stripped away in real time. Whether that continues comes down to one thing: whether we can mobilize at the scale required to stop it.

History and research show that authoritarian governments worldwide have not withstood a challenge by 3.5% or more of their people. And we’re closer than you might think. Eight million people showed up for the recent No Kings Day. That’s about 2.3% of the country, more than halfway to 3.5%. 

To get there, it takes sustained mobilization: training volunteer leaders, supporting safe and nonviolent protests, and building the infrastructure to keep millions engaged.
