Tony Rohr, the manager of an Elkhart, Indiana, Pizza Hut, was fired for refusing to force his employees to work on Thanksgiving. He had worked at Pizza Hut for nearly 10 years—but after he spoke up at a work meeting saying he wouldn’t open his restaurant on the holiday, he was asked to sign a letter of resignation. VICTORY: Texas Board of Education Adopts Sound Science Textbooks
