The kickoff rally featured Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) alongside Representatives Yassamin Ansari (AZ-6) and Jasmine Crockett (TX-30) and was emceed by Adam Mockler of MeidasTouch. The event energized Phoenix community members and a nationwide livestream audience, funnelling attendees into volunteering for MoveOn’s 2026 election program.
“The Won’t Back Down Tour is about organizing to win back power in 2026 alongside the lawmakers who are leading the fight against the Trump administration and paving the way for the future of the Democratic Party. The work starts now to take back the House in 2026 and hold Republicans like Ciscomani and Scheikert accountable for ripping away health care from 17 million people,” said Britt Jacovich, spokesperson for MoveOn Political Action.
The Wont Back Down Tour is part of MoveOn’s campaign to build grassroots energy in Republican-held swing districts nationwide, aiming to flip control of the U.S. House in 2026. The movement will continue in Omaha, Nebraska on August 23.
