WASHINGTON, D.C. – As reported in The Hill, today MoveOn Political Action is circulating a mobile billboard around this weekend’s Libertarian National Convention, as part of a grassroots push to let voters know that a vote for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is a vote for former President Donald Trump. Both Trump and Kennedy Jr. are scheduled to speak at the convention in an attempt to win over more voters with their dangerous agendas.
The mobile billboard commissioned by MoveOn features messages including “Kennedy Jr. Supports Abortion Restrictions,”” “He Can’t Worm His Way Out of This One,” ““Exposing Kennedy Jr. for Who He Really Is,” and “Two Sides of the Same Extremist Coin.”
Almost 30,000 Americans have already signed a MoveOn petition calling for Kennedy Jr. to suspend his 2024 presidential campaign. MoveOn members have also been advocating against his extremist views, including his support of national abortion restrictions.
Recent reporting has revealed that the American Values 2024 Super PAC, a backer of the Kennedy Jr. campaign, has received another large gift from GOP megadonor and known funder of the Trump campaign Tim Mellon. MoveOn is sounding the alarm that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is not libertarian: Kennedy Jr. and Trump are just two sides of the same extremist coin.
