A fifth-generation Hudson Valley native, West Point graduate, and decorated Army intelligence officer who served two combat tours in Iraq, Pat Ryan has dedicated his life to public service and defending foundational freedoms. After leaving the military, Pat built a technology small business from the ground up, implementing progressive worker-first policies like paid family leave and creating job-training initiatives to help veterans without college degrees land high-paying tech careers.

Elected as Ulster County Executive in 2019, Pat brought bold, practical leadership to local government—spearheading a local Green New Deal, establishing 24/7 mental health crisis services, transforming a dormant IBM site into an economic engine, and cutting taxes for middle-class residents. Now serving in the U.S. House of Representatives, Pat brings his “Duty, Honor, Country” ethos to Washington to take on corporate greed, protect reproductive rights, and deliver real relief for working families.
