A fifth-generation logger from Allagash, Troy Jackson has spent his life working in the Maine woods and standing up for working people. Having built his career from the ground up as a logger and labor organizer, Troy brought his authentic working-class perspective to public service, eventually serving as Maine Senate President. Throughout his legislative career, he has been a tireless champion for organized labor, fair wages, affordable healthcare, and rural communities across Maine.

As former Senate President, Troy proved that strong progressive leadership can deliver real results for working families, standing up to corporate interests and fighting for policies that put people over profit.
