WASHINGTON, D.C. – As reported in The Hollywood Reporter, on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at 8 p.m. ET, MoveOn Political Action will host a virtual trivia night, “Code Blue: Democracy!” We will be joined by special guests Shonda Rhimes, Kate Walsh, U.S. Representative Maxwell Frost (FL-10), and cast members from hit medical TV dramas, “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Private Practice,” to remind voters that the best antidote for right-wing extremism is casting your ballot for Vice President Harris and Democrats downballot.

“There are just four days left until polls close, and we have to leave it all on the field and leave no stone unturned to elect Kamala Harris and Tim Walz and progressives all the way down the ballot. On TV, we’ve overcome hurricanes, sinkholes, ferry accidents, and more, but that didn’t stop us, so don’t let anything stop you from getting out the vote,” said actor and activist Kate Walsh.
“We may play fake doctors on TV, but we know the stakes are very real in this election. There might be only a few days left until Election Day, but it’s not too late to use our power and make our voices heard at the ballot box. After doing all of our research, the answer for us was clear: We’re voting for Kamala Harris and Democrats all the way down the ballot to protect our freedoms,” said the actor and activist Jason George.
“Health care decisions should be between a patient and their doctor, not dictated by Donald Trump and right-wing extremists,” said MoveOn Political Action spokesperson Britt Jacovich. “In these final days before Election Day, we are reminding voters to use their power and elect leaders who will protect your freedoms, including your rights to abortion and reproductive health care.”
This event marks the final celebrity livestream MoveOn will hold before Election Day as the organization campaigns for Democrats and works to keep Donald Trump and MAGA extremism away from the Oval Office.
