Because all available evidence at the moment points to Representatives Rice, Schrader, and Peters being more interested in lining the pockets of rich pharmaceutical CEOs rather than delivering relief from the price gouging costs of prescription drugs for their constituents. Congress has a once-in-a-generation chance to enact big and bold reforms. Democrats looking to water them down on behalf of special interests are actively harming the people they’re supposed to serve.
