WASHINGTON, D.C. – Shortly after Taylor Swift endorsed Kamala Harris and Tim Walz’s campaign, MoveOn Political Action unveiled a new t-shirt inspired by Swift’s recent Eras Tour merchandise. The shirt, featuring the slogan “In My Voting Era,” is now available for purchase.
“MoveOn has always valued and believed in the power of harnessing pop culture energy to mobilize and organize the public for progressive change. We’re very excited that she’s making her support for the Harris-Walz ticket clear. And we think this gives permission for younger voters and women voters who are concerned about the MAGA agenda and are looking for opportunities to get engaged and to consolidate behind Harris and Walz,” said MoveOn spokesperson Britt Jacovich.
Proceeds from the t-shirt sales will directly support MoveOn’s voter outreach efforts, with the goal of contacting 1.5 million key voters in battleground states ahead of the 2024 election. Swift’s fans and voters alike can “Speak Now” through their support, as MoveOn continues its work to ensure every vote counts in this crucial election year.
