WASHINGTON, D.C. – In response to former President Trump admitting he would restrict access to mifepristone, MoveOn Political Action spokesperson Britt Jacovich issued the following statement:
“Donald Trump will sign a national abortion ban. We know that because he’s responsible for the MAGA Supreme Court majority that ended the constitutional protections of Roe. And today, when given the opportunity to say that he would protect access to mifepristone, he refused.
“The only way to stop MAGA Republicans from taking us backward by banning abortion, mifepristone, contraception, and IVF is by denying Trump a second term in the White House. MoveOn members are fired up to get out the vote and elect Harris-Walz and Democrats across the country who will fight for our reproductive freedoms.”
