WASHINGTON, D.C. – In response to the U.S District Court decision to dismiss the classified document case against former President Donald Trump, MoveOn Political Action Executive Director Rahna Epting said:
“The decision by Trump appointee Judge Cannon reeks of partisanship. It harms public confidence in the courts and will only deepen divisions in our country at a very tenuous time. Yet again, the courts have made it clear there will be no checks or balances for Trump, and the only hope for American democracy and to restore the rule of law is for the people coming together to defeat MAGA at the ballot box in November.”
