WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s running mate Nicole Shanahan gave an interview revealing, once again, that Kennedy Jr. supports limits on abortion. The interview follows NBC News’s reporting that Kennedy Jr. hired a former MAGA Republican spokesperson who had called the deadly insurrection “Democrat misdirection.”
In response to Kennedy Jr.’s MAGA behavior, MoveOn Political Action Chief Communications Officer Joel Payne release the following statement:
“Within the last day, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s campaign was revealed to have hired an insurrection sympathizer and his running mate doubled down on Kennedy’s support for abortion bans. No wonder his Super PAC is awash in millions of MAGA donor money. The more we learn about Kennedy Jr.’s campaign, the clearer it becomes that he is running a shadow MAGA campaign and he is barely recognizable from Donald Trump.”
