Nicole Shanahan, RFK Jr.’s running mate, said that the duo is not in the race to win and is focused on not hurting Trump: “There’s two options that we’re looking at, and one is staying in, forming that new party, but we run the risk of a Kamala Harris and Waltz presidency because we draw more votes from Trump.”
In a video posted to X, the co-chair and co-founder of RFK Jr.’s Super PAC, American Values, expressed similar sentiments. When one of the hosts asked if Trump and RFK Jr. were working behind the scenes together, Tony Lyons responded, “I would hope so. There’s about 80 days left, and I’d be shocked if that didn’t happen.”
“The RFK Jr. campaign serves one purpose: to elect Donald Trump. You don’t need to take our word for it—his running mate Nicole Shanahan just said it herself. They are consumed with helping Donald Trump, which is why they’re funded and boosted by Trump donors and taking their marching orders,” said Britt Jacovich, spokesperson for MoveOn Political Action. “RFK Jr. is no outsider, and he has been lying to his supporters all along about his reasons for being in this race.”

It’s no wonder RFK Jr. is considering dropping out to help Trump—they’re essentially dupes of one another:
