Join NowVoters have two choices when voting for reproductive rights.
There’s Donald Trump, who bragged about overturning Roe v. Wade, and his running mate, JD Vance, who believes abortion should be illegal nationally.
Our rights to decide when and if we start a family are on the line this November. While the overwhelming number of Americans want abortion protected, data shows that 1 in 4 voters don’t really know Trump’s stance on abortion. In fact, 12% of voters believe Trump supports legal abortion. That’s why it’s crucial that as many voters as possible see this ad!
During Vice President Harris’s historic speech on the final night of the Democratic National Convention, she declared, “I believe America cannot truly be prosperous unless Americans are fully able to make their own decisions about their own lives, especially on matters of heart and home. But tonight, in America, too many women are not able to make those decisions, and let’s be clear about how we got here. Donald Trump handpicked members of the United States Supreme Court to take away reproductive freedom, and now he brags about it.”
While we’re clear that Vice President Harris will fight to protect and expand abortion access, there are a lot of voters who are undecided on whether they’ll head to the polls or not.
The ads are being served up to surge voters whom MoveOn staff and members have been reaching with a layered direct voter contact persuasion program since April. These are individuals who lean Democratic, voted for the first time after 2016, care about abortion rights, but are still on the fence about whether they will make the same effort this year.
With just under 70 days left before November 5, we need your help to make sure that our ad is seen by as many people as possible who haven’t committed to vote to let them know that they have a choice between Kamala Harris, who will fight for our future and freedoms, or Donald Trump, who will take our country backward.
The continual attacks on abortion access are scary and getting worse by the day, but we have the power to fight back. We can’t let the U.S. have a federal abortion ban.
In every single state, no matter how ruby red, where abortion has been on the ballot, voters have turned out in droves to protect it.
And this November, we can do it again. But only if we organize. Only if we vote.
