RUN WARREN RUN STAFFS UP IN NEW HAMPSHIRE: Four experienced New Hampshire field organizers have joined our grassroots campaign to encourage Elizabeth Warren to run for president in 2016. The Democracy for America hires build out the Run Warren Run team in the first-in-the-nation primary state, led by veteran labor organizer Kurt Ehrenberg, who’s worked with Bernie Sanders and the Sierra Club and was most recently the Political and Legislative Director of the New Hampshire AFL-CIO. The Run Warren Run campaign recently opened an office in Manchester and is set to open an office in Portsmouth this month. Here’s more from James Pindell in the Boston Globe:
“I’m excited to join activists all across the Granite State to ensure we live up to our proud tradition of defying expectations, upsetting conventional wisdom, and picking presidents by working to bring Senator Elizabeth Warren and her populist progressive vision for our country into 2016’s first-in-the-nation primary,” said Ehrenberg.

ARTISTS JOIN DRAFT WARREN MOVEMENT: More than 90 well-known actors, directors, musicians, and artists released an open letter to Elizabeth Warren this week urging her to run for president. The star-studded list includes Mark Ruffalo, Julia Stiles, Chloë Sevigny, Joss Whedon, Susan Sarandon, Ed Norton, and many others.
The letter reads: “There’s too much at stake to have anything other than our best candidates taking part in the debate; everyone is better off with a contested primary. We need powerful, tireless champions like you, Senator Warren, in the race to push for real solutions to income inequality and the influence of money in politics.” Read the full letter here.
