ROUND-UP: “Nobody Elected Elon!” Rally Ignites Democratic Opposition

Two Dozen Lawmakers Join MoveOn, Indivisible, and Working Families Party at Treasury

WASHINGTON – Yesterday, MoveOn Civic Action, Indivisible, and Working Families Party were joined by more than 3,500 attendees at a rally outside the Treasury building calling for Democratic leaders to use every tool at their disposal to hold Elon Musk and President Trump accountable for their overreach. 

Prior to the press conference, Representatives Maxwell Frost, Jasmine Crockett, and more were rejected from entering the Treasury building–all while an unelected billionaire gained access to millions of Americans’ data and to Social Security payments. 

Since the rally, it’s been reported by Axios that Senate Democrats are now prepared to block Trump nominees through blanket holds on multiple committees.
