MoveOn Statement On Two-Year Anniversary of MAGA Supreme Court Stripping Abortion Access

Britt Jacovich: “A vote for RFK Jr. is a vote to boost Trump, further entrench a right-wing Supreme Court, and strip us of our most basic rights.”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Ahead of the two-year anniversary of the Supreme Court’s reversal of Roe v. Wade, MoveOn is reminding voters that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is no different from Trump when it comes to his dangerous stances on abortion. From promises to roll back access to commonly used abortion drugs to choosing a running mate with anti-IVF views, RFK Jr.’s positions on abortion put him at odds with an overwhelming majority of Americans

In response to the ruling, MoveOn Spokesperson Britt Jacovich issued the following statement:

“A vote for RFK Jr. is a vote to boost Trump, further entrench a right-wing Supreme Court, and strip us of our most basic rights. MAGA Republicans and MAGA-backed spoilers like RFK Jr. are peddling the same authoritarian agenda. These extremists want to revoke access to abortion, IVF, and reproductive care in every state across the country. If you care about protecting your bodily autonomy, President Biden is the best choice to lead our country.”
