WASHINGTON – In response to ICE’s latest murder in Minnesota, MoveOn Civic Action Executive Director Katie Bethell released the following statement:

“As we can see with our own eyes, Trump’s ICE murdered another person today. President Trump, DHS, and ICE are lying to the American people to cover up state-sanctioned violence. We cannot trust a word out of the Trump administration’s mouths. ICE needs to follow the guidance of local officials and residents and get out of Minneapolis immediately. Members of Congress must show some spine and do everything in their power to hold ICE accountable and save lives, including heading to Minneapolis themselves and blocking DHS funding.”
