ACCESSIBILITY
We’re committed to making MoveOn a more accessible, inclusive environment for all our members. If you experience any issues with navigating our site or viewing our emails, please let us know by emailing accessibility@moveon.org.
How We’re Improving Accessibility
Here are some of the steps we’re taking to improve our accessibility and follow Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 standards:
- Updating our text link designs to improve color contrast.
- Adding a way to skip to the content you want on certain text-heavy pages.
- Making sure all our images have alternative text.
- Making sure our forms have the correct labels for screen readers.
- Ensuring all videos have closed captions available.
How We Check For Accessibility
We’ve created an internal checklist to ensure new and most-frequented pages are in line with WCAG standards before publishing. We also use BrowserStack and Email on Acid for webpage and email accessibility checks.
