Republicans want to reduce the top tax rates for millionaires and billionaires from 35% to 25%. But where are they going to get the trillions of dollars they need to do that?
Simple. They’ll just take it from the people who need it most, in these three easy steps:
1. $2.17 trillion cut from Medicare and related health care programs
2. $350 billion slashed from food stamps, education, training, employment, and social services
3. $400 billion ripped from low-income discretionary programs such as Pell grants and low-income housing
