Last night, MoveOn.org Civic Action Executive Director Anna Galland joined “The Last Word” with Lawrence O’Donnell on MSNBC to discuss The Boston Globe’s call for Elizabeth Warren to run for president.
Anna, who penned one of the three op-eds that accompanied the piece from The Boston Globe’s editorial board, made the case for Run Warren Run and explained why more than 300,000 Americans are already supporting the effort to draft Senator Warren into the presidential race.
“Elizabeth Warren has made her life’s work speaking out for the the little guy. … Our case is really simple: We need Elizabeth Warren’s voice and message and track record in the Democratic presidential primary. We need it because it’s a powerful voices, it’s a powerful message message; it speaks to one of the key issues of our moment… and because if she doesn’t run, we will not have the feisty, real, deep debate that we need about where our country is heading…”
