At a recent House Appropriations Committee down in Kansas, Rep. Virgil Peck (R) thinks he has discovered a solution to the “illegal immigrant problem”:
“It looks like to me if shooting these immigrating feral hogs works maybe we have found a [solution] to our illegal immigration problem.”
After the committee meeting, Peck was approached by the press. He did not apologize for his quote, and went on to state that he was “just joking,” and “just speaking like a southeast Kansas person.”
