Maxwell Alejandro Frost, a passionate advocate and the first Gen Z member of Congress, is committed to building a better Central Florida and a stronger nation for all. Inspired by his diverse heritage and a deep sense of justice, Frost leads with love, working tirelessly to create a future where no one is left behind.
Maxwell Frost was born on January 17, 1997, into a family with Puerto Rican, Lebanese, and Haitian roots. Adopted by Patrick Frost, a musician, and Maritza Argibay-Frost, a special education teacher, Maxwell was raised in Central Florida with a strong foundation of love and hard work. His love for music blossomed in childhood, eventually leading him to form an award-winning salsa band, Seguro Que Sí, which performed at President Obama’s second inauguration. Frost’s early experiences shaped his dedication to activism and community service, inspiring him to become a voice for change.
Before taking office, Frost was deeply involved in activism, working on key campaigns like those for Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, as well as advocating for voting rights and gun safety through his work with the ACLU and March For Our Lives. As a Congressman, he introduced the Office of Gun Violence Prevention Act and fought for legislation to protect renters and deliver community resources to Central Florida. His persistence in addressing gun violence was rewarded when President Biden announced the creation of the Office of Gun Violence Prevention in 2023, a major victory for Frost and young activists nationwide.
In Congress, Maxwell Frost remains steadfast in his mission to fight for justice, equity, and progress. He champions legislation that uplifts underserved communities, tackles the challenges facing Floridians, and advocates for gun safety, affordable housing, and economic fairness. Guided by his belief that “change is a process, not an event,” Frost continues to lead with love, envisioning a future where every person has the opportunity to thrive and live without fear. Through collaboration and relentless dedication, he is determined to make meaningful strides toward a more just and equitable society.

We need to be expanding access to abortion as essential health care and codifying abortion as a fundamental right, and we can't let MAGA Republicans control our bodies and our health.
