Remember when the U.S. government shutdown for 16 days in 2013 because Republicans in Congress opposed Obamacare—you know the law that gave millions of uninsured Americans access to affordable healthcare? (Thanks a lot Obama.) Well guess what? You’re not having deja vu, Republicans are threatening to do it again.
Here’s another flashback. Remember in 1973 when the Supreme Court ruled in a 7 to 2 majority that it’s unconstitutional to ban abortions? Republicans have forgotten that too.
