This is a victory for the American people against the corrupting influence of powerful Wall Street interests.
We will continue to fight for the principle that we deserve public officials who can be counted on to stand up for Main Street, not Wall Street. This is a defining issue of our time, and we will not back down, no matter how condescending the big banks or their allies are, or how much they spend on lobbyists.”
