But, back in the real world, the Libyan people don’t actually love him at all. And his reaction to their uprising is certainly not helping: As part of his ferocious crackdown, Gadhafi has recruited thousands of African mercenaries to attack “his people” and ordered the air force to bomb unarmed citizens with warplanes and gunships. Laughing, he even blamed the rebellion on Osama bin Laden, Al Qaeda and teens on drugs.
